Turns out we are going to Monticchiello.

Thanks to slowtrav.com there's well recommended "Osteria La Porta" a
mile up the road for us to try. Splendid. Apparently they do good
coffee and pastries in the morning that sounds like an excuse to
wander up there of a morning. Can't wait.

Cheers,
Richard

You'll do well as long as you don't drive like an Italian and don't try to
see all Italy from a farmhouse.

Oh don't worry, we'll have trips planned.

As my friend who planned it said after I sent him a list of restaurants in
the Monticchiello, "I think that's lunch and dinner planned for every
day" - although I think we do plan to cook back at the farmhouse. I want to
make a ragu with all the local ingredients !!
