How idiotic the law is, though, when behaviour that to a reasonable person
would constitute bullying (which is unacceptable in itself) is regarded by
the tribunals as discrimination on the grounds of sex.
Johnson v Gateway Food Markets Ltd (1990, IT)
Harassment of a female general assistant by a female supervisor was sex
discrimination.
Gates v Security Express Guards (1993, IT)
Harassment of a male security officer by a male supervisor amounted to sex
discrimination.

It does not say what what the harassment was. Was she asking her out on a
date?

Not sure what it has to do with uncontrolled judges, though, Roger. And I
prefer my judges to be uncontrolled, actually. That way, there is a chance
that they might declare the Iraq invasion to be unlawful and a grotesque
infringement of the civil rights of the Iraqi citizens who were mutilated by
our bombs. I see the Americans are beginning to admit that the war was
unlawful... must be a shock to Bob.
