I seem to straddle between both melancholic and atypical according to
the table showing clinical differences between the two.

Level of arousal:Both
Anxiety level:Melancholic
Reactivity:Atypical
Emotional memory: Melancholic? A lot of my memories are negative but i
seem to have
a lot of blanks with regards to the past ie as though the memories are
broadly rather than finely tuned.

Cognition:Both
Behaviour:Both
Sleep: Atypical more than melancholic
Appetite: Atypical
Energy level:Melancholic
Diurnal variation:Both
BMI: Atypical
Lean body mass:Atypical
Total body fat: Atypical
Immune function:No idea!
Infection/inflammation: Atypical. Based on flu like symptoms including
aching joints when in a highly stressed/tense state.
