I think what "Anna" is driving at is that we ought to be hating the
Palestinians more, as all God-fearing Americans do. After all they are
Muslims, and all Muslims are terrorists by definition. And then they are
occupying territory that God promised to the Jews (it says so in the Bible
so it must be true). Just as the only good Red Indian is a dead Red Indian
so the only good Palestine is a dead Palestinian.

What I was saying is that people in Europe (and while I realize that
people in Great Britain don't consider themselves "European" it seems
to go for them too) are totally anti Israel. The BBC is so anti
Israel that an Israeli cable/satellite company wouldn't carry them.
Good for them. What was funnier was that the same company DID carry al
Jazeera. Wow, that's saying something.

If the European Union had the ability they would wipe out Israel. The
scary thing is someday they will have the ability to do just that. But
I don't think they are going to have a chance because I believe that
Israel will fall under an Obama administration, but that's not to say
that in that process the EU won't be there to lend a hand in that. And
also if anyone knows anything about Israel they themselves have a very
liberal government so all that will result in Israel's demise. I am
not sure that this will happen but it is quite likely to happen and I
knew how happy our Brit Friends here would be to hear that.

By the way, I am not that big of a fan of Israel either. I think their
Lobby is too strong in the US. Nothing against the Israeli people but
no foreign lobby (or otherwise) should have as strong an influence
over US policy makers as the Israeli Lobby does.

And the fact that they are a bunch of liberal socialists doesn't
really engender any endearment towards them,

So, they fall. It is going to be sad in a general sense to see all
those Jews die and I bet the Palestinians are going to ruin all those
ancient buildings and artifacts but apart from that, no great long
term lost from my perspective. And if it is the kick in the face
America needs to wake up and change directions then I guess that is
what is going to be.

All this of course is quite academic because it is all but history. I
am pretty astute in politics and can get a sense of general trends.
This election has the feel of 1992 and in some ways 1996. There is
very little chance of anything but an Obama win so all we can do is
wait for the chaos to begin and hope and pray that a Reagan figure
will emerge to put all the pieces back together and set us upon the
right course.
