news:dec7 > Anyone know one?? > Italian chandleries are not the cheapest - VAT is quite high in Italy (can't remember exact figure) also their freight costs are not cheap, and they are also not well organised for online sales. Things are only cheap in Italy if you got to some dodgy little shop behind the docks in Genova and pay with readies, then you can get stuff like very effective antifouling at a good price (stuff they use on big ships). The cheapest onlline chandlery that I know is www.svb.de - which is in Germany. |
