Back in the day I was in a duo called Pump. We had an album out in 1987
(IIRC). I met up with the other bloke last, which led me to do a bit of
Googling today. Turns out that someone has made it available for download.

Wrap your earlobes around this:

The download is the link entitled "new link!".

Couldn't find a vocalist, eh?

On my MP3 player now. I shall listen to that when I have a chance, but random
clickage on a few tracks leads me to believe it's the kind of thing I like and
my wife loathes.

Sometimes I can sing, sometimes I can't, hence the processing of my voice
on Blind. David sings (my lyrics) on The Hammering Stops. That's why we got
Karl Blake to sing on Lung. Amazing bloke - wrote the lyrics in 5 minutes,
and devised the riff in less time. His guitar was custom made of
plexiglass, and the tone-control was a cry-baby Wah-wah, built into the
guitar.

John Cale gave him the mask he used to wear on stage, when they met in
Paris. Karl put it on. Coming back through customs he refused to remove it.
It took a while to get through...

Sitting In The Rain is an absolute classic. I also have a soft spot for
Baffin Island (silly), There Are No Russians In Russia (silly), It's Over
(silly and very tasteless), and Sex In Chains Blues (extremely silly but
only slightly tasteless). One of the great albums of the early 80s.
