Reports of a 4x4 being driven into a building at Glasgow airport.
There is a fire and three men at least have been arrested. BBC News
24 is running it but there is more on Sky News. This follows a report
earlier of a small bomg going off inside a terminal building in Ibeza.

I suppose they'll say it was a terrorist attack now.

It certainly doesn't look like one to me. The news keep referring to an
explosion when the car crashed, but from what I can see, the car simply
caught fire.

Has anyone stopped to consider that there might be more explanations than
just the common knee-jerk *it must be terrorism* response?

The Zionazi loons on this newsgroup are salivating like Pavlov's dogs
already. Suits their "agenda" too well, you see.

At no time did I mention .terrorist' - perhaps that is your
conclusion, and I must say it sounds reasonable unless it was just
people who got hacked off queing at the Avis counter while waiting to
hire a Mercedes - however, now you mention it, reports say one man was
on fire, two arrested, and one was not of a standard white european
appearance - now doubt a really nice guy with an attitude problem.

Non European? Say what it is then and no beating around the bush. They
were Asian, and therefore most likely to be one our Muslim friends, and I
use the term 'friends' in the widest context of the word.

With all due respect to our Scottish neighbours, if you're a terrorist
on a mission you don't bother with peripheral rubbish like Glasgow.

Yes to Heathrow, Charles de Gaulle, JFK....................but not
Glasgow.

Thanks for that Tom. Your detailed inside knowledge is useful. I
don't have access to this info so rather than attribute what I heard
to a particular race, I made it generic.

It seems that he's happy to make the hat fit the subject of his

It probably escaped your notice as it's unlikely to have been covered
by the London papers, but your queen was in Scotland this morning.
There are also reports of a traffic 'incident' on the approaches to
Edinburgh airport, but that might just be a simple breakdown.

It looked like they were pumping water and not foam - is that the new

I suppose so - mind you my daughter's BF is Iraqi (Kurd) - if you
referred to him as Asian, he'd put you through a wall or something!
*Big* prejudice there...

Please show me where I said you did.
I said "I suppose they'll say it was a terrorist attack"
The clus is in my use of the word "they'll"
It refers to the media, not you.

I think my posts makes it clear that it's not my conclusion.

The whole thing has me rather saddened - this car could simply have
lost control and crashed into the building (Initial reports suggested
that two cars had crashed outside the building and one was on fire).
What is making people believe that it was rammed, or is a terrorist
attack? I really hope it's not because the drivers are 'Asian
looking'.
