None of this is of much consequence; this kind of thing is the Muslim
equivalent of Soccer hooliganism.
Religious tolerance should be taught in schools, based on the premise
that all religions are silly vestiges of more primitive times: perhaps
the most viable form of religions is culinary, so the classes should
try the foods of these various moribund religion, and also be taught
that the only ingredients of religion that are real are the spices
and foodstuffs in the menus of the various religious cultures-
otherwise religion is unscientific and irrational.
Also let's remove the irrationality of the fear factor. The fact is
that a few ragtag exotic nut cases around the globe are of less
importance if perhaps more irritating then a swarm of pesty insects.
Oh sure for a while they'll have their nasty little triumphs.
The fact is the biggest one they will ever have is 9/11, a lucky blow
that was carried out by a well disciplined (and intelligent gang)
smart crips or bloods could have done this. It's the last big event
that radical Muslims will ever carry out.
They are disorganized, technological primitives. Let them dream about
the 7 Th century, leave them to their absurd dreams
thanks,
Danny

According to BBC reports the alleged terrorist was found to be wearing a
suicide belt on arrival in hospital! Something doesn't sound right there, he's
been set on fire yet it didn't go off - is that plausible?

No it was a suspected device and treated as such. Turns out it wasn't
anything but they didn't want to take any chances.

Of course it is *plausible*. Anyone incapable of making an effective car
bomb is no doubt equally or more incapable of making an effective
suicide belt.

However, I suspect that the "suicide belt" will turn out to be regular
one - with maybe a mobile phone melted in place on it.

So let me see if I have got this correct.
An alleged terrorist is wrestled to the ground and allegedly arrested.
He is not searched for a weapon - his clothes are all but burnt off
(according to one report) - he is held on the ground and yet these
highly skilled police officers did not know he had some thing
suspicious on him?

Gordon Brown has just declared that the terrorists are evil.
Oh......that explains their behaviour then doesn't it .....silly old
me....I thought they had a grievance. At this point can I just
explain that Blair and Bush were sent by God. That's all clear now
then.

Having a grievance and being evil aren't mutually exclusive.
