How the what? You don't think those shows deserve it?

this year.

I'll stop you there. How the FUCK has Supernatural won ANYTHING to do with
SciFi?
If anything its genre base is horror.

Its not even vaguely to do with SF. Fiction yes, Science hardly.

Well many have listed it under sci-fi but your point is well taken.

It's a yardstick for the merit of the awards; which evidently come
from geeks immersed in sadistic violence with a vaguely
extra-terrestrial theme.

I tried DW - really hard, but I just couldn't get into it.

Honestly, I don't see it even as horror - nothing on there really scares
me. (except Dawn Ostroff getting her paws on it) I'm more into the
dramatic elements of it, but I see what you're saying.

I dunno about horror, I don't think so. But Fantasy yes, sort of a
subset of scifi.

My sweetie got some of the old series with the original Dr on them as a
christmas gift. We went through those and he bought the first season of
the latest series. We're liking them.

It really can't fit any other category - I just want it recognized.

Most of its fans seem to be downright religious about it, but it just
didn't grab me.
