With the changes that are happening within the OS, what are the
differences going to be? Cheaper maps, free digital?

I had a meeting with two OS surveyors this morning so I asked the senior
surveyor what was to come. He said the consultation period was still in
progress and gave me a copy of the consultation document. He was unable
to be definite about any outcome as that hasn't been decided as yet but
as the PM made an announcement about 'free' data he was sure something
would be released, but doubted that large scale mapping would be included.
